Curved design situates the light source in the patient’s periphery as opposed to directly overhead. This reduces glare and envelopes the patient in comfortable illumination.
Multifunction patient bed luminaire with ambient, exam, night observation modes and an optional reading light.
Large form surface-mount brackets to simplify installation and provide freedom in design around spaces with shallow plenums and crowded patient room ceilings. EmbraceTM can be mounted on solid and grid ceilings and has a remote driver option when there is no space above the ceiling.
Pairs with Sensorswitch™ sealed wall switch (SWS) for plug and play intuitive control. Compatible with patient bed pillow switch controls by others.

With EmbraceTM overbed, we were inspired by Florence's refusal to accept the status quo. We broke the linear mold and changed the shape of overbed lighting.
Long term care
No matter how well controlled, traditional overbed lighting becomes a direct and ever-present source of glare for the patient. We were determined to do better.
Dermatology
By pushing light outside of direct patient view, glare is reduced and the patient has a calmer more humane setting for their procedure.
Neonatal care
When the level of care is so intense, you don’t need the light to add to stress. Meeting all IES RP-29 recommended light levels in an aesthetically comforting package, EmbraceTM is the perfect solution.

EmbraceTM has a soft aesthetic that can be used outside the patient room as part of a calming design philosophy.
Installation
EmbraceTM is designed for installation on hard or grid ceilings with a mounting plate that scurs to structure and allows for final alignment to ensure that the fixture is properly centered over the patient bed.
EmbraceTM overbed meets RP-29 requirements for the patient room, the light source is pushed to the periphery and is no longer a blinding presence directly in a patient’s eyes, greatly reducing stress-inducing glare.
EmbraceTM is available in 3000K, 3500K and 4000K with an optional reading light.
